This festival 'Gulab dol' is celebrated on ekadashi in chaitra shukla paksh. The decor is made of roses in shades of red.'Gulab' means the first blossom of roses and 'dol' means swing crafted in dome shape. In the evening hours this swing is crafted with roses and ropes.Lord Radhavallabhji also adorns rose colour dress shringaar of roses and jasmine. The whole temple is decorated with rose garlands and in sheets of rose colour. The whole enviorment smells with rose aroma.
Decorations and bhog:
Delicacies of all types, all varieties of sweets prepared from milk and its products, savories and dry fruits of various types with main ingredient as rose like Gulab Jal, Gulkand etc. Blessed are those, who, by the Grace of Sri Radhavallabhlalji, could get the gracious opportunity to have a bite of all that is offered, besides glimpse of the Lord's Krishna. In the Evening, after Sandhya Aarti is celebrated on a grand scale.
At night with Temple Musicians (Samaj) singing devotional
songs, is performed with great serenity.
